Culturally Attuned & Cultural Synergy
Exploring how culture shapes conflict—and possibility.
In a world where misunderstanding often escalates into division, the Culturally Attuned podcast and Cultural Synergy course were created to offer something different: tools for listening across boundaries, navigating complexity, and cultivating connection.
This two-part multimedia project was developed in partnership with the U.S. Institute of Peace to support peacebuilders, community leaders, and cultural practitioners working across lines of difference.
Culturally Attuned: Season 1 (2021) & Season 2 (2023)
A podcast featuring real-world stories of cross-cultural engagement—from the frontlines of mediation efforts to deeply personal journeys of transformation.
Each episode explores how cultural intelligence, humility, and creativity can lead to more effective—and more human—conflict resolution.
Cultural Synergy (2022)
A companion training course that provides frameworks, strategies, and reflective practices for working in intercultural environments.
The curriculum draws from real-world case studies, conflict theory, and systems thinking to help practitioners lead with awareness and integrity.

Why It Matters
This project emerged from a simple idea: culture is not an obstacle to navigate—it’s the water we swim in.
When we become attuned to the stories, rituals, and values that shape others’ realities (and our own), we create space for dialogue, not division.
In a time of global polarization, this work feels more essential than ever.
